Job Description
Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our In School Health team in Peoria, Illinois.
Position Details Include:
- Interested candidates must be able to start by January 6, 2025
- This position will be based at Manual High School but the In School Health APP must be available to travel to Peoria High School, Richwoods High School, and Trewyn Middle School in Peoria as needed
- This position will primarily consist of completing school physicals, immunizations, and providing reproductive health clinical services/education
- Hours will typically be 7:30 AM – 4 PM Monday - Friday following a school schedule. Will be off during the summer and on days that school is out including holidays
- Opportunity to work PRN during the summer for health fairs and community events
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
- Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public school districts
- Carle Health is a not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
- At least one year of clinical APP experience is required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
Must have a valid IL driver's license in good standing
