Job Description
Carle Health is seeking an additional Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Hospitalist team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.
Practice opportunity details include:
- Join an established, dynamic, and talented team of 27 physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers working in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.
- APP team collaborates with Hospitalist physicians to care for inpatients with a focus on admission support.
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
- 7 on/7 off schedule
- Holiday shifts required during shift weeks up to half the legal holidays per year.
- Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public-school districts

Education Requirements:
- Physician Assistant or Master’s Degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP)
- 1-year Inpatient experience preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois physician assistant license or registered nurse and advanced practice nurse
