Lead Line Services Technician

The Lead Line Services Technician is responsible to the Line Services Manager for the safe and efficient parking, fueling, servicing and dispatch of aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and directs the activities of Line Service Technicians assigned to his/her shift
- Trains personnel in the processes of conventional fueling (over wing & single point), use of equipment, and passenger and personnel safety
- Performs aircraft fueling operations, line services, aircraft towing, and general operations of the FBO as needed
- Refuels and defuels commuter, narrow and wide body class aircraft
- Operates fuel trucks
- Receives fuel loads
- Transfers fuel from the fuel farm to the fuel trucks
- Operates and maintains aviation ground service vehicles and the fuel farm
- Operates deicing vehicles and applies deice and anti-icing fluids
- Follows safety protocols at all times
- Performs other duties assigned by the Line Services Manager
Qualifications
- Comply with Byerly Aviation, PIA Airport, FAA, TSA and other regulatory rules pertaining to the procedures and safety rules regarding FBO line service operations
- Wage Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to pass an airport security background check per DHS requirements
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Wage Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
