The Department of Mathematics at Bradley University invites applications for a non-tenure track position as an Instructor in Residence for the 2026-2027 academic year. This one-year, non-renewable position would be focused primarily in introductory mathematics courses (e.g. college algebra through second semester calculus) offered by the Department of Mathematics. The successful candidate may also be expected to teach general education mathematics courses, if needed and if their background allows. Successful candidates will be expected to help sustain the University's emphasis on high-quality educational practices in the classroom.

Candidates must possess a master's or doctorate in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics education. Candidates will be expected to have a strong coursework background or significant experience in mathematics education. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and show promise of pedagogical excellence in a Liberal Arts and Sciences setting.
