Position Title: Video Coordinator, Women's Basketball
Department: Intercollegiate Athletics
Reports To: Women's Basketball Head Coach
Appointment: Full-time, 40 hours per week (12-month position)
Status: Exempt
The Women’s Basketball Program is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated professional for the postion of Video Coordinator.
This full-time, twelve-month exempt position provides primary support to the Women’s Basketball program. Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate video needs of the Women’s Basketball program including live editing of games and practices and player and scout edits; Ensure compliance with conference film exchange requirements; Assist in organizing on-campus recruiting visits including travel arrangements and meetings with necessary university faculty and staff; Manage social media accounts in conjunction with sports information; Produce internal recruiting materials in compliance with NCAA guidelines; Produce team and individual highlight videos; act as a liaison between WBB and sports information; Assist in the development of conditioning and skill workouts; Assist coaching staff in WBOC reporting; Assist coaching staff in the planning of summer camps. Administrative duties include but are not limited to: Scheduling for the Head, Assistant Coaches and student athletes; Maintaining department budget information including reimbursements and statement reconciliation; Develop and execute department events, programs, promotions, and mailings; Maintaining various department databases; Independently composing reports and presentation materials: Managing correspondence, newsletter and social media initiatives: Travel arrangements; Processing confidential and highly sensitive information; Supervising student employees; Developing forms and/or procedures to meet the needs of the office, and other special projects and duties as assigned. This position is involved with the University in a way that furthers the interests and promotes the Women’s Basketball Program.
Qualifications include: A bachelor’s degree is required. Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is preferred. Experience in Adobe Suite is preferred but not required. The successful candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; Must have computer digitized video editing experience and in-depth basketball knowledge to prepare edits; Compliance with all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference, and Bradley University rules, policies, and procedures; Knowledge of various social media outlets and ability to promote the women’s basketball program; Experience with summer camp coordination; and experience with FastScout, FastDraw, Sportscode, and Synergy. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented with strong analytical skills, possess a positive customer service attitude with respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to meet multiple deadlines without direct supervision, and the ability to work in sensitive areas with confidential information. A high level of proficiency with computer applications and general office software is necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
