The Department of Biology at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track lecturer position beginning August 2026. An M.S. in microbiology, biology, or a related field is required; prior undergraduate teaching experience, both in-person and online, is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate microbiology courses for biology and nursing majors, introductory cell biology for allied health majors, and additional general biology courses as needed and based on the candidate’s background. The teaching load is 12 contact hours per term. Faculty are also expected to contribute to service. Research is not required for this position, but candidates interested in research are welcome to discuss the research opportunities at Bradley.

We seek a candidate with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and demonstrated potential for pedagogical excellence in a liberal arts and sciences environment. Mentorship focused on teaching will be provided.
