Position Title: Head Coach, Premier Club Sports (3 Positions)

Department: Intercollegiate Athletics

Reports to: Premier Club Sport Director

Appointment: Part-time; 25 hours per week (12-month position)

Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

Bradley has recently launched Premier Club Sports, offering an exciting opportunity for passionate and driven individuals to help build and elevate the club sports of Women’s Ice Hockey, Women’s Flag Football, and Women’s Soccer to competitive success within the respective sport league or conference.

Working collaboratively with club leadership and the Premier Club Sport Director, the Head Coach will provide leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day management of each team while enhancing the student’s overall college experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents, and campus partners to support recruiting and program development.
• Experience with fundraising and program advancement efforts.
• Available to work evenings and weekends. (Most games occur Friday and Saturday).
• Demonstrated experience working with college-age students
• Must hold or be willing to obtain required coaching certifications in accordance with league and university compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills with a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.

Benefits:

• This is a part-time, stipend position: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
• CPR and AED certification will be provided and required.

Responsibilities:

• This position reports directly to Premier Club Sport Director.
• Sufficient time will be given to the following:
  • Develop and implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and overall team management approaches to enhance team performance.
  • Focus on player development by providing individual and group instruction to improve skills, conditioning, and game awareness.
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting talented players; attend games and evaluate prospective student-athletes in collaboration with the Enrollment Management - (Essential).
  • Manage the team during games, making real-time strategic decisions and ensuring clear communication among players
  • Promote athlete safety, support injury prevention and management, and foster student development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Oversee logistical operations including scheduling, travel, equipment management, budgeting, and compliance with university and league regulations, in coordination with the Premier Club Sport Director.
  • Represent the program at community and university events, fostering positive public relations and building visibility and support for the team.
