The Department of Biology at Bradley University invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor in Residence beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to primarily teach undergraduate Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) courses serving our Nursing and other Allied Health Majors. Other teaching responsibilities may include introductory Biology courses and general education courses. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and show promise of pedagogical excellence in a Liberal Arts and Sciences setting, as well as have a willingness to engage in on-line education. As part of the Department of Biology, the successful candidate will also be encouraged to participate in service activities. This position is not tenure-track, but the successful candidate will be considered for renewal.
Candidates must possess a MS in Biology or a related field. Candidates will be expected to have a strong coursework background or significant experience in Anatomy and Physiology. Successful candidates will be expected to help sustain the University's emphasis on high quality educational practices in the classroom, and on diversity equity and inclusion in all aspects of our interactions with students, faculty, and staff.
