The Department of Biology at Bradley University invites applications for a non-tenure track position as an Instructor in Residence for Spring 2025. This one-semester, non-renewable position would be focused on serving our Nursing and Allied Health Majors primarily in anatomy and physiology (A&P) laboratory courses offered by the Department of Biology. The successful candidate may also be expected to teach a general biology lecture course, if needed and if their background allows, or to contribute to other lecture or laboratory courses. Successful candidates will be expected to help sustain the University's emphasis on high-quality educational practices in the classroom.
Candidates must possess an MS or PhD in Biology or a related field or a BS with commensurate experience in the field. Candidates will be expected to have a strong coursework background or significant experience in anatomy and physiology. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and show promise of pedagogical excellence in a Liberal Arts and Sciences setting, and have a willingness to engage in on-line education.
