Position Title: Financial Assistance Advisor

Reports to: Director of Financial Assistance
Appointment: Full-time; 40 hours per week (12-month position)
Status: Exempt
The Division of Enrollment Management invites applications for a 12 month, full-time (M-F 8am-5pm) highly motivated professional to join our Financial Assistance team. This position is based on campus in Peoria, Illinois and will have a primary role advising and administering financial assistance to students at Bradley University.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide timely and responsive service while assisting students
- Use technological and analytical tools to help students secure funding
- Ensure students meet and maintain financial assistance eligibility requirements
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Adhere to external regulations, internal policies, procedures and requirements related to various areas of responsibility
- Process withdrawals and complete aid adjustments due to changes in course registration
- Review international financial documents including affidavit of support and bank statements for incoming students
Education & Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma; Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in higher education and/or knowledge of Bradley University processes and departments.

- Strong computer skills including ability to collect and analyze information.

- Strong organization skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Skill in operating a computer and using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- Ability to establish interpersonal rapport with students and colleagues across campus
