Marketing and Communications – Graphic Designer
Bradley University seeks a creative and self-motivated individual for the full-time exempt position of Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, this position supports various marketing initiatives and client projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, produce, and update print, photo, and web projects managed by the business partners in the Office of Marketing and Communications
- Adhere to the Bradley Brand Guidelines to maintain brand integrity
- Complete and track tasks in our project management platform upon approval of senior graphic designer
- Provide photo retouching when necessary
- Electronically archive all projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
- At least two years of professional experience working with corporate materials in all marketing channels, designing/producing print publications and web graphics
- A thorough understanding of design principles, photography, typography, printing techniques, and web design requirements
- Excellent Mac computer skills in relevant art and design software packages, particularly the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- Ability to work under pressure, be highly motivated and well organized
- A good eye for detail, while having the ability to see the larger branding picture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a diverse team
- Ability to see other people's point of view and cope with criticism
- Proven ability to meet production deadlines
Mental/Physical Requirements
Must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is performed in a normal office environment with little exposure to outdoor temperatures or dirt and dust. Working conditions are typically moderately quiet. Occasional travel and weekend work are required to meet deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to work in a non-ADA compliant work environment.
