See open jobs at Bradley University.See open jobs similar to "Assistant Professor In Residence, EHS" Greater Peoria, IL.The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Bradley University invites applications for a Full Professor/Open Rank tenure track 12-month position in speech-language pathology or related field to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising, mentoring, course development, course assessment, and other duties as assigned by the CSD Program Director. Applications will be accepted from candidates having broad areas of teaching and research interests with preference given to those with specialization in anatomy and physiology, adult neurology, and voice disorders.
Duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses, developing/maintain an active research agenda appropriate for an in-residence faculty line, serving on departmental, college and university committees, and advising students.
Earned Master’s in communication disorders/speech-language pathology. Must hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, current state licensure and be eligible for Illinois State license. Preferred Ph.D. in communication disorders/speech language pathology. Prior documented expertise in their area(s) of teaching responsibility. Prior university teaching experience. Knowledge of the curriculum design, application of principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice concepts and prior knowledge of multiple modalities of content delivery (e.g. in-person, distance learning). A minimum of 15 years clinical experience in the area of speech-language pathology and a minimum 2 years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level. Experience with distance education is preferred.
