Work with design engineers and team leads to plan and execute engine component validation plans
Translate technical requirements into detailed test plans, instrumentation requirements, and execution strategies
Prepare and deliver technical project summaries and final test reports
Develop concepts, designs, feasibility studies, and collaborate with suppliers to create design solutions
Create and manage development plans, ensuring projects meet scheduled timelines
Conduct technical evaluations of competitive products and major systems
Coordinate product testing with prototype build, prove design, and validation teams
Evaluate, define, and resolve design and manufacturing issues
Interface with Test & Evaluation, Service, Plant personnel, suppliers, and consultants for problem resolution
Stay updated with latest technologies and contribute to innovative product design features
Work in a collaborative team environment (on-site and virtual) with global teams
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of professional experience
OR
Master’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of professional experienceStrong background in design, validation, and product development
Experience working in cross-functional and global engineering teams
Internships, academic projects, or thesis work are not considered as qualifying experience
Required Skills
Core Technical Skills
Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and ability to develop product concepts
Proven experience taking a product from design concept to production
Experience with engine systems, including combustion, emissions, calibration, and lab testing
Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo / Pro-E) for modeling and detailing
Experience with simulation-led design (FEA, CFD, ANSYS or similar tools)
Strong understanding of test planning, validation, and instrumentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook)
Strong project and task management skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work as an independent thinker and team contributor
