We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Peoria, IL. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical and electronic hardware development, testing, and system integration, particularly in heavy equipment, automotive, or industrial domains.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and electronic hardware components (circuits, PCBs, harnesses, controllers, sensors).
- Perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting for performance, durability, EMI/EMC, and compliance.
- Lead system-level integration ensuring smooth interaction between hardware, software, and mechanical systems.
- Support prototype builds, validation testing, and issue resolution during development phases.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams for project execution and delivery.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor /master’s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in hardware development, validation, and integration.
Required Skill:
- Strong knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power analyzer).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SPI, I²C, UART).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards (ISO 26262, UL, CE, or SAE).(preferred)
- Exposure to power electronics and motor control systems.(preferred)
