Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the design of wiring and electrical / electronic system integration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for electrical designs for new product development machines and aftermarket configurations as well as supporting production maintenance issues
• Gather, prepare and understand design requirements and specifications
• Provide cabling, wiring and related electrical and electronic component designs within time, cost and quality targets
• Coordinate and monitor drawing and releasing tasks and workflow ensuring high quality designs are released on time
• Work with supplier to ensure correct component specifications are in place and resolve various supplier related issues
• Work with cross functional teams in Collaborative Product and Process Development (CPPD)
• Participate in Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) programs

Education/Experience:

•Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from accredited university Technical Skills Required
• 3+ years experience in Creo modeling, cabling and harness design and familiar with Creo schematic tools
• Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Desired Skills:
• Experience in a Mining, Earthmoving, or Construction product group
• Experience with engineering tools and software Soft Skills Required
• Experienced at multitasking and delivering targeted time, cost and quality results
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Effective team collaboration skills
• Strong initiative and a self-starter
