Duties& Responsibilities:
  • The ePowertrain Simulation Engineer working in the ePowertrain NPI simulation team works closely with the ePowertrain component and sub-system teams (power-source, power electronics, motors, and controls) to simulate the ePowertrain system performance for a particular ePowertrain configuration.
  • Responsible for executing ePowertrain NPI simulation requests and communicating results and/or learning.
  • Work with the ePowertrain simulation team to document our core simulation processes and ensure that he/she follows these processes.
  • Develop new simulation capabilities that are necessary to predict ePowertrain system performance and durability.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering with at least 10 Years of Full-time work experience (outside of academia) using 1D simulation to predict system performance.
Required Skills:
  • 10 years of experience performing 1D system simulation.
  • Experience performing 1D simulation on power systems.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
