Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Works overtime when required

Primary Role

Performs J.U.L.I.E locates. Performs b-box and valve inspections and maintenance/exercising, fire hydrant flushing inspections, and leak detection. Reads, tests, and/or installs water meters, when needed, and performs customer service functions, when needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Works with utility crews and customers, performing various water and sewer utility repairs, maintenance, installations, and a high level of customer service awareness to include working on mainbreaks, sanitary
  • sewer backups, and jet flushing sewers.
  • Maintains and keeps equipment in proper and safe operating condition.
  • Performs required paperwork and investigations accurately, completely, detailed, and on time.
  • Operates heavy equipment and vehicles such as dump trucks, water pumps, jack hammers, sewer jet cleaning and vacuum equipment, tv equipment, etc.
  • Effectively operates various equipment such as line locators, metal locators, pressure gauges, sawzall, augers, b-box keys, meter reading equipment, etc.
  • Works with teams or alone to complete assigned projects on time.
  • Willing to perform any and all related job functions, when needed.

Experience/Education

  • 0-2 years of experience in the water industry.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
