Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for continuous improvement savings within assigned accounts.
  • Evaluates and oversees continuous improvement processes, identifies opportunities for efficiency optimization.
  • Leverages and knowledge shares cost savings across accounts.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for customer supply chain continuous improvement.
  • Interfaces with customer CI databases to ensure proper formatting and classification.
  • Tracks and reports out on progress to goals & guarantees and helps share CI ideas across assigned accounts.
  • Administers ATS continuous improvement database inputs and tracking.
  • Gathers data for key performance indicators for functions being reviewed.
  • Assists in the execution of continuous improvement related training programs.
  • Understands how activities and their costs are linked to products, processes, and customers.
  • Collects data on outputs, labor costs, cost of raw materials or other overhead, and quality of service delivery and prepares reports and analysis for senior leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with peers and leaders across an organization.
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) exhibited at all levels within an organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Desirable KSAs:

  • Able to effectively build relationships by establishing trust, credibility and adding value quickly
  • Basic understanding of operationally-focused strategies and improvement plans

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to use a telephone with headset for verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional use of other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and color vision. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office.
