Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit.

Our Vehicle Service Technicians, or VSTs, will provide direct support to field providers by ensuring our fleet is clean and ready for service. As a VST, you will partner with EMT and Paramedic crews to fully equip their ambulance with all required single-use items, maintain good working order of permanent equipment, and ensure a clean, sanitary environment for our patients.

Tasks:

• Maintain clean interior and exterior of ambulance and non-emergency vehicles
• Manage supplies and inventory for ambulance and non-emergency vehicles
• Test monitors and equipment to ensure operability prior to ambulance starting service
• Accountable for Narcotic and Toughbook logs
• Utilize crew restock sheets for restocking of ambulance
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized supply room and garage floor

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must possess a valid Illinois driver's license
• Current EMT license in Illinois or ability to obtain a plus
• Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 100 pounds (subject to physical exam)
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
